Nutrition plays a crucial role in growing children specially in states of illnesses. Children with cancers and blood disorders are highly vulnerable requiring appropriate guidance regarding diet to ensure good outcomes.

The dietary department manages the following

  • Nutrition Care of patients

Dietician reviews patients’ diagnosis and provides a diet chart and supplements based on their needs. Detailed counselling is done for the same which is reinforced at every follow up.

Indoor patients in Hematology - Oncology ward and BMT unit are assessed on a daily basis and a tailor-made diet plan is provided. They also assist in planning parenteral nutrition for patients when needed.

  • Food and drinking water service management – The dietetics department ensures quality of the food and water served in the hospital.
